Flexible displays are simply graphics mounted to a flexible, non-rigid substrate. It is the selection of the mounting substrate (i.e. Sintra and Styrene) that starts to define the materials used in creating this product. Flexible displays are used for long-term and short-term applications. You should not confuse this product with “Pop-Up Display panels”, which are not mounted to a substrate. Materials used in creating flexible displays are typically those of higher performance requirements. The over-laminate and mounting adhesive must be able to withstand the flexing the product will undergo during its life span without tunneling or separating. This type of product is used in applications such as visual merchandising displays in department stores, trade show booths and general displaying of images indoors.
